As a duo, Sarah-Jane can provide vocals with a piano - a classic and intimate vibe, performing a selection of best-loved standards and sensual Bossa Nova - or vocals with a guitar - a more funky, latin feel.

"To my mind, Jazz is a freedom to change a song - whether it be pop, country or classic. It's not a sound...it's a way of playing music. Absorbing all those influences, I guess we're on the periphery of jazz, pop and musical theatre. That's essentially what the band and I enjoy; creating and developing new interpretations of classic tunes - giving a nod to all the decades, starting with the 1920s all the way up to the present day."
A fresh blend of diverse musical backgrounds come together to create a fusion of Jazz, Bossa Nova and Vintage Pop Classics.
Sarah-Jane is joined by an accomplished Quartet. Her vocals are delivered with warmth, charm and elegance that blend beautifully with piano, sax, flute, bass and drums. Expect an eclectic mixture of stylishly reworked, much-loved classics. You will be taken on a journey from Caro Emerald to Cole Porter, The Beatles to Gershwin, Jobim to Retro Swing, with a few surprises along the way.
Sarah-Jane can accommodate the smallest venues to the largest castles. She will be happy to advise on the size of the band and instrumentation which best suits your event and budget.
